
Riversharks Win in Extras

Camden Riversharks News Release
The Riversharks scored two runs in the 11th inning to outlast the Bridgeport Bluefish by the final score of 7-5. Camden is now 5-1 in extra-inning games this season.
Lloyd Turner doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th and Noah Hall provided an insurance run with an RBI single to break the tie score.
Noah Hall put the Riversharks on top in the opening half inning with an RBI single that scored Lloyd Turner to give the 'Sharks a 1-0 lead.
Bridgeport responded in the bottom of the 1st with three home runs off of Federico Baez. Andres Perez and Steve Moss hit back-to-back solo home runs and three batters later, Prentice Redman launched a two-run homer to up the Bluefish lead to 4-1.
Trailing 4-2 in the 3rd inning, new Rivershark Willis Otanez connected with a solo home run, his first with the team, to cut the deficit to 4-3.
Camden grabbed the lead in the 5th inning with two runs. Otanez hit his second home run of the night to tie the ballgame and Alvin Colina gave the Riversharks a 5-4 lead with an RBI double.
The lead did not last long as Wes Bankston hit an RBI double in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game at 5-5.
