Riversharks Take Game 1 of Double Header

Eddy Camacho pitched into the seventh inning and the Riversharks pounded out twelve hits en route to a 3-2 victory in Game 1 of their day-night double-header with the Road Warriors. Brian Stokes came on in the 9th inning to pick up his 9th save of the season.

Camacho (5-1) went 6.2 innings for the victory allowing one earned run on eight hits while striking out three batters.

Miguel Martinez(4-7) was the hard luck loser surrendering just three runs in 6.1 innings on eleven hits.

The Riversharks broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the 3rd as the first five hitters in the inning reached with a base hit. Ruddy Yan, Noah Hall, and Pedro Feliz hit three consecutive RBI singles to give Camden a 3-0 lead.

Feliz was 3-for-4 with an RBI on the game.

The Road Warriors got one back in the top of the 6th to make it 3-1 when Amadeo Zazueta scored on Juan Francia's throwing error.

Adrian Ortiz brought the Road Warriors within a run in the top of the 7th with an RBI groundout that brought home Victor Gutierrez.

The Riversharks and Road Warriors will continue their three-game series tonight with the second game of their double-header as Kelvin Villa (3-4) will faceoff against Josh Towers (3-5).
