
Riversharks bite Surf 5-4 at Camden

Camden, NJ- The Riversharks retired 16 straight batters at one point to Give the Surf their second loss in as many games this pre-season. Brad Strauss of Camden drove home two runs and scored another, as the Riversharks drowned the Surf 5-4 in a wet but playable game.
Ric Johnson opened up the game with a line drive double to left field, then scored on a Shane Monahan sacrifice fly to give the Surf a 1-0 lead. The Riversharks came back with two runs in the bottom of the first inning as they went on to win in front of a couple hundred fans here at Campbell''s field.
The Surf play Camden tomorrrow at the Sandcastle at 3:00pm so come down and watch spring training Surf style.
