Three assigned to Alaska, eight released from tryout contracts

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today the club has assigned goaltender Gerald Coleman, forward Kory Falite and defenseman Mark Isherwood the Rivermen's ECHL affiliate, the Alaska Aces.

In addition the following players have been released from their tryout contracts with Peoria: forwards Pierce Norton, Ethan Cox, Chris Morehouse, Jerad Stewart and Zach Pearson; defensemen Alex Dzielski, Aaron Dawson, and Ryan Palmer.

The Rivermen open the 29th season of professional in Peoria on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7:05 p.m. against the Manitoba Moose. Full-season, partial and mini ticket plans are all on sale.
