Bulldogs Sweep B-Sens in Pre-Season Action

ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND- Although the Binghamton Senators managed to push the Hamilton Bulldogs to a shootout, the B-Sens still wound on the losing end of the battle, falling 4-3 to the Bulldogs in their third and final pre-season game.
Mike Hoffman opened the scoring for the B-Sens, while Erik Condra net two of his own in the matinee at Mile One Stadium.
Neither team would score in the extra period, which sent the game to a shootout.
The Bulldogs' Alexander Avtsin and Senators' Kaspars Daugavins would be the only players to score in the shootout until the ninth round when Hamilton's Dany Masse broke the tie with a goal to win the game for the Bulldogs.
The B-Sens return to Binghamton on Monday, Oct. 4 and plan to resume training camp at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Tuesday, Oct. 5 taking to the ice for a 3:45 p.m. practice.
