
Rivermen Re-Sign Riley to PTO

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today that the club has signed forward Blair Riley to a professional tryout contract (PTO). Riley appeared in five games with the Rivermen on his first PTO and was released on Thursday.
Riley, 25, joined Peoria from the Las Vegas Wranglers (ECHL) on March 1 and collected two assists in his five games with the Rivermen. In Las Vegas, he has 35 points (17g, 18a) in 50 games. He has also seen action in four games this year with the San Antonio Rampage between Dec. 29 and Jan. 2. He scored in his first game with the Rampage.
A rookie, the 6-foot, 210-pound winger appeared in three games last season with the Springfield Falcons after completing a four-year career at Ferris State University. In 147 games at the collegiate level, Riley accounted for 42 goals and 45 assists for 87 points to accompany 262 penalty minutes.
