Peoria Rivermen News Release
Peoria, IL (March 8, 2005) - Director of Ticket Operations Jim Small of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the team's playoff ticket packages are now on sale. Should the Rivermen reach the AHL Calder Cup Finals, fans purchasing Lower Bowl or Upper Bowl playoff ticket packages will realize a savings of $44 per seat or nearly 15 percent over Peoria Civic Center Box Office pricing.
Rivermen season ticket holders and individual ticket buyers may pre-purchase a playoff ticket package at a discounted rate over the team's individual-game ticket pricing. A Lower Bowl playoff ticket package is $264 ($16.50 per seat) for a potential 16-game playoff run and an Upper Bowl playoff ticket package is $184 ($11.50 per seat). Playoff ticket packages will be available until Saturday, April 1 and available for pick-up on Friday, April 7.
Fans may purchase a playoff ticket package by using Cash or Check to pay in full or by supplying a valid Credit Card. For those paying in full, refunds or credit toward 2006-2007 season tickets are available. All Credit Cards transactions will not take place until the conclusion of the playoffs for the number of games played.
Per American Hockey League (AHL) policy, each team's gate price for individual tickets in the first two divisional rounds of the AHL Calder Cup playoffs increases by $1 per seat over the regular season price [Lower Bowl (LB) - $18.50 per seat & Upper Bowl (UB) - $13.50 per seat]. Tickets will increase by $2 (LB - $19.50 & UB - $14.50) in the Western Conference Finals and by $3 (LB - $20.50 & UB - $15.50) in the Calder Cup Finals.
Individual playoff game tickets, which will be available at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster locations, go on sale on Saturday, April 1. All remaining seat locations, not secured through playoff ticket package purchase, will be available for individual sale.
Group tickets for any of the team's remaining games are now on sale! For more information, please contact a representative from the Rivermen Group Ticket Sales department at (309) 676-1040.
