Binghamton Senators News Release

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Checkers head coach and general manager Derek Wilkinson announced today that Dusty Jamieson has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League. Jamieson was signed to a 25-game professional tryout agreement.

Jamieson, 24, has been the Checkers leading goal scorer for the past three seasons and the leading point scorer for the last two. He was leading the Checkers this season in both categories with 27 goals and 28 assists (55 points) in 50 games. Jamieson's 55 points this season tops his career best of 53 which he set last season (31g, 22a). The Checkers' next top scorer is Mike Bayrack who has 40 points (20g, 20a) in 47 games.

This will be Jamieson's second stint in the AHL. During the 2003-04 season, he skated in six games with the Hartford Wolf Pack but did not record any points.

The Checkers return to action Friday as they host the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Checkers will then travel to Gwinnett on Saturday and return home on Sunday to host Greenville. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call the Checkers at (704) 342-4423 or visit www.gocheckers.com.
