
RiverKings Training Camp Schedule Released

Mississippi RiverKings News Release
(Southaven, MS) -- The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League (CHL) have announced the schedule for the first week of the team's pre-season training camp, which will begin Monday, October 6th. The RiverKings will spend the first week of training camp splitting ice time with their Northeast Division rival Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, a team they will play in two exhibition contests at the DCC on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th.
Mississippi will have two-a-day workouts on the ice on Monday and Wednesday, October 6th and 8th, and will have one workout on their home ice on Tuesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 9th.
The afternoon and evening workouts will be open to the public with times as follows:
Monday, October 6th - 7:00-8:30 PM
Tuesday, October 7th - 2:00-4:00 PM
Wednesday, October 8th - 7:00-8:30 PM
Thursday, October 9th - 2:00-4:00 PM
Fans are welcome to come out to the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven at these times to get their look at the 2008-09 Mississippi RiverKings on the ice.
The first game of the 17th season of RiverKings' hockey in the Mid-South is coming up Friday, October 17th, when the RiverKings host the Wichita Thunder at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven. For ticket information, call the RiverKings at 662-342-1755 today!
