THE SERIES
The RiverKings bring a three game winning streak to the Travis County Expo Center tonight when they face the Austin Ice Bats for the third time this season. Memphis went 1-1 in the first two meetings; a 1-0 loss at Austin on November 26 and a 4-1 victory at the DCC on December 20. The Ice Bats have been the hottest team in the league over the past month having won 11 of their last 13; including a nine game winning streak that was snapped on Saturday at Odessa. The successful run has improved Austin's record from 10-17-2 on January 1 to their current 21-19-3. The run has also put the Bats in a position for the Southern Conference playoffs. They currently possess what would be the number three playoff spot. The RiverKings and Ice Bats wrap up their season series on March 24 at the DCC.
