SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- The Mississippi RiverKings (11-6-2) saw their two-game winning streak come to an end after a 3-2 shootout loss against the Huntsville Havoc (9-8-1).

The Havoc struck first 13:58 into the first period. Mike Gurtler buried a two-on-one pass from Stuart Stefan past Matt Krahn to give Huntsville a 1-0 lead. But the RiverKings responded 30 seconds later on Charles Lachance's sixth goal of the season to tie the game at one heading into the first intermission.

After a scoreless first 19 minutes to the second, the RiverKings took the lead. Corey Fulton's wrist shot beat Kevin Genoe over the glove side to give the RiverKings a 2-1 lead going into the second intermission.
