Mississippi RiverKings News Release

SOUTHAVEN, MS – Hockey season is coming up sooner than you think! With their schedule for the upcoming season in hand, the Memphis RiverKings have announced the creation of a new mini-season ticket plan for the 2004-05 campaign.

The 15-Game Mini Plan will allow RiverKings fans the chance to purchase tickets for pre-selected games spanning the entire 2004-05 hockey season, starting with Memphis's season opener on Saturday, October 23rd against the Fort Worth Brahmas.

Highlights of the 15-Game Mini Plan include three dates against the arch-rival Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, a late January matchup against the defending President's Cup champion Laredo Bucks, and two games against the Oklahoma City Blazers.

Scott Tanfield, the Director of Ticketing for the RiverKings, feels that the 15-Game Mini Plan will be beneficial to hockey fans who are feeling constrained by both time and budgetary concerns.

"This plan is great for working parents with families, because all of the games fall on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday," said Tanfield, "And the convenient price makes it a great value for practically any household."

Fans receive several benefits by purchasing the 15-Game Mini Plan. Those benefits include a chance to purchase a discounted parking pass; the opportunity to purchase playoff tickets before the general public; and the convenience of being able to sit in the same seat for every game.

Pricing for the 15-Game Mini Plan starts at just $150.00, with even greater discounts available to senior citizens, members of the military, and tickets bought for children.
