LOVES PARK, Ill. - David Cooper ran home to give the Rockford RiverHawks their second straight walkoff victory.

Cooper scored on a wild pitch by Joliet reliever Griffin Bailey in the bottom of the 11th as the RiverHawks beat the Jackhammers, 4-3, at Road Ranger Stadium.

Patrick O'Sullivan and Randall Simon hit home runs for the RiverHawks, in front of a near-sellout crowd of 2,519. Joe Billick homered for the Jackhammers.

Jake Eigsti, who doubled in the tying and winning runs in Friday's 7-6 win, picked up where he left off. Eigsti put the RiverHawks on the board first with a sacrifice fly to score O'Sullivan. Joliet tied the game when Kevin Rios scored on a double to right field by Freddie Thon.

Rockford retook the lead in its next turn at-bat. O'Sullivan led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a home run to left field. Billick followed suit. Billlick led off the top of the fifth with his first homer of the year to tie the game at 2-2. Later in the inning, Joliet took its first lead of the game. Kevin Rios hit a two-out RBI single to left off Mike McTamney to score Roberto Mena and put Joliet in front, 3-2.

The score remained 3-2 until Simon led off the bottom of the eighth with a home run to right off JackHammers relief pitcher Mike Rocco.

In the bottom of the 11th, Bailey (0-1) gave up a one-out single to Travis Scott. Cooper, who hit into a forceout, stole second and third bases. On the 3-2 pitch to Kevin House, Bailey uncorked a wild pitch to bring in Cooper with the winning run.

Jon Huizinga (2-0) pitched a scoreless inning of relief and earned the win.

The RiverHawks have a chance for a three-game series sweep at 4:05 p.m. Sunday. It's Costcutters and MyGofer.com Kids Day. Kids can run the bases for free after the game. Early arrivals receive a Kyle Wright large-format baseball card. In addition, kids can ride the RiverHawks Express stadium train, courtesy of Midwest Rail Junction and the Illinois Railway Museum.
