LOVES PARK, IL - Jake Eigsti delivered a bases loaded walk off double to push the Rockford RiverHawks past the Joliet JackHammers 7-6 Friday night at Road Ranger Stadium. Joliet fell to 3-2 this season against Rockford.
Rockford (8-12) entered the ninth trailing 6-5, but got back-to-back singles from Jason James and Randall Simon with one out off Drew Shetrone (0-1). Patrick O'Sullivan flew out and Rich Austin walked to load the bases with two outs. Eigsti lifted a 3-1 pitch off the wall in centerfield, just out of the reach of Jonathan Wyatt, to plate the winning run.

The JackHammers broke a 3-3 tie in the eighth with two runs. Mena doubled and Jorge Rodriguez laid down a bunt single to put two runners on with nobody out. After Rodriguez stole second, Wyatt slapped a double down the left field line to put Joliet up 5-3.
