RiverHawks sign three, activate Davis

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks announced Friday that they have signed three players and activated one from the disabled list.

The RiverHawks signed outfielders Carlos Rivera and Nick Santos, as well as pitcher Kyle Pawelczyk. Outfielder Aaron Davis was activated from the 14-day disabled list.

To make room on the roster, the RiverHawks sent shortstop Jono Brooks (separated and partially torn shoulder) and pitcher Marcus McKenzie (left elbow strain) to the DL and released first baseman Bryan Cook.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
