KINGS WIN 9-5 - The Kalamazoo Kings returned from the All Star Break in winning form by taking down the Florence Freedom 9-5 Friday night. DH Brendan Murphy provided the early offense with a solo HR in the 2nd inning and then adding a 2-run shot in the 4th. Then, in a four run 5th, Mike Russell hit an RBI single down the left field line to score Brandon Anderson. Simon Williams followed that up with a 3-run HR. Starting Pitcher Trent Lare pitched 5 2/3 innings to pick up the win and the bullpen pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings to close out the game.
