RiverHawks Sign Rookie Pitcher, Will Start Tonight

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks have signed rookie Eric Rohe, and will start the former Carthage College pitcher on Saturday against Southern Illinois.

Rohe was named to the Division III All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin first team. He went 4- 3 with a 2.29 earned-run average. Rohe completed five of his nine starts. He struck out 45 and walked 11 in 70 2/3 innings and held opposing batters to a .224 average. Rohe was named second-team all-CCIW in 2010 and 2011.

The RiverHawks play the Miners at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at RiverHawks Stadium.
