
Riverhawks sign pair

Quad City Riverhawks News Release
Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks announced the signing of 6'5" 220lb forward Coleco Buie out of Missouri State University and 6'8" 240lb forward John Jackson out of Mississippi State University.
Buie's last action was in the IBL (2006) where he averaged 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game for the IBL Champion Elkhart Express who ended the season 23-2. Jackson last played in a pro league in Argentina. Both players are expected to dress for the "Money Game" tonight against Minnesota starting at 7:05pm.
The Riverhawks released Danny Osby and Jason Faulknor to make room for the two new arrivals.
The Riverhawks next home game is Thursday, January 11 at 7:05pm against the Twin City Ballers and the #23 ranked Peoria Kings (8-10) come back to the Quad Cities to battle for the traveling trophy in the "War on 74" Friday, January 12 at 7:05pm sponsored by NewsChannel 8, WQAD-TV.
