Georgia Gwizzlies complete Knoxville schedule

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the remainder of the Knoxville Noise schedule will be played as the Georgia Gwizzlies - and will play its home games in Georgia and will also meet the Noise' away schedule. According to Joe Newman ABA CEO, "This move will be helpful in a variety of ways as it will tighten the travel schedule and make it easier for our southeastern teams. And co-owner Embry Malone has put together a formidable, competitive team. Included are:

7'2", 285 lb Charlie Ludwig

6'7" Jarrett Oliver

6'9" Kamura Catron

6'6" Jason Stewart

6'4" Terico Smothers

6'10" Jonathan Haymon

6'8" Rufus Talmadge

6'7" Noah Shell

6'3" Eric Gainous

"I have wanted to compete in the ABA for the last four years," said Malone. "We deeply appreciate this mid-season opportunity. We'll pick up the Knoxville record - and our team will do everything it can to reach the playoffs and represent the league well."

The team will play its home games at Oxford College in Covington, Georgia, a school in middle Georgia.
