
RazorSharks return home for three big games this weekend

(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks (12-5) have won five of their last six games and look to move closer to first place in the ABA's North Division as they host three games in five days at The Blue Cross Arena this weekend. Rochester split a pair of games on the road last weekend, defeating Buffalo 96-94 last Friday night and losing in Detroit 107-98 on Sunday afternoon.
The RazorSharks host the Newark Express on Thursday, January 11 at 7:05 p.m., with the game will be carried live on the Time Warner SportsNet (Channel 26). The first place Vermont Frostheaves (16-3), owned by Brighton native and Sports Illustrated writer Alexander Wolff, visit The Blue Cross Arena on Saturday afternoon, January 13 at 2:05 p.m. Rochester ends the three-game home stand by hosting the Cape Cod Frenzy on Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day - at 4:05 p.m.
RAZORSHARKS/HOME TEAM SPORTS HOLIDAY HOOPS CLASSIC READY FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 15
The RazorSharks and Home Team Sports, a new high school sports publication, are teaming up to present the "RazorSharks/Home Team Sports Holiday Hoops Classic", a triple-header of basketball at The Blue Cross Arena on Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day. For the price of a RazorSharks ticket, fans can see two high school basketball games sandwiched around the RazorSharks - Cape Cod ABA game.

4:05 p.m. - Rochester RazorSharks vs. Cape Cod Frenzy
6:30 p.m. - Greece Arcadia HS Boys vs. Greece Olympia HS Boys
HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD - TWO SCHEDULE CHANGES
The Cape Cod Frenzy will return to The Blue Cross Arena on Monday, January 15 for a holiday afternoon matinee game at 4:05 p.m., replacing the Brooklyn Wonders. The Hollywood Fame will make its first visit to Rochester on Sunday, February 11 at 2:05 p.m. as they participate in a three-game road swing on the east coast. They will replace the Buffalo Silverbacks on the RazorSharks schedule that day. The Fame ownership group that includes pop singer Nick Lachey, Geoff Stults ("7th Heaven" and "The Break-Up"), Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars"), former MLB All-Star Brady Anderson, NFL quarterback Kyle Boller of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR's Brian Vickers.
25 STRAIGHT WINS ON HOME COURT AND COUNTING
The RazorSharks have won 25 straight games on home court at The Blue Cross Arena, setting the Rochester professional basketball record for consecutive home wins. Rochester is 28-2 all-time on home court and have a 41-8 (.837) all-time overall record as they enter the second half of their second season of play in the ABA. The RazorSharks last lost at home on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Thanksgiving Night - to the Niagara DareDevils 116-111.
