
Riverhawks sign Julian King

Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks, 17-6 and ranked #5 in this weeks ABA Power Rankings, announced the signing of 6'6" 220lb forward Julian King out of Coppin State University and 5'11" 185lb guard Ray Truitt.
King's last professional action was in South America and Truitt played for the IBL Fargo Bees in 2006 where he averaged 12 points, and 8 assists per game.
The Riverhawks released John Jackson who has signed in Venezuela, Marlon Parmer has signed in Quatar (Middle East) and Coleco Buie.
The Riverhawks next home game is tomorrow night at 7:05pm against the St. Louis Stunners and Chicago Bulls mascot "Benny the Bull" will be in attendance courtesy of Mediacom to entertain the crowd. Tickets are available by calling the Riverhawks office at 563/445-2375 or are available at the Beyond the Baseline Field House Sports Complex (formerly Marycrest College) prior to the game.
