ABA web site under construction
February 1, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The ABA today announced that it is once again re-building its web site (www.abalive.com) to incorporate some exciting new features that will make it easier to navigate, to make it more interactive, and to make it more fan friendly. According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "We are temporarily going back to the previous look while we make the changes. Over the last two months, we've had tremendous response from the public with extraordinary input as to how we can make the web site better. You spoke, we listened. You will like what we're doing. Please bear with us while we make the changes." For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
And be sure to listen to ABA All Access Radio this Saturday at 3pm EST. Joe Newman will bring you up to date on the ABA at mid-season, playoff plans, expansion, and some candid comments about the shape of pro basketball. It will be an interesting show. Tune in on www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
