Friday night's Arkansas Aeros, RiverCatz game postponed

February 1, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Arkansas Aeros News Release

SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Due to hazardous road conditions, Friday night's American Basketball Association contest at the All-Star Sports Arena in Springdale between the Arkansas Aeros and Arkansas RiverCatz has been postponed.

Road conditions in the Northwest Arkansas region have made travel conditions treacherous, thus forcing management from both teams to postpone the contest to a later date. More wintry weather is in the forecast for the area over the next 24 hours.

Both teams must now travel to Houston for their next game. The RiverCatz are slated to face the Takers on Tuesday, Feb. 6, while the Aeros make the jaunt for a Friday, Feb. 9 contest.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
