
RiverHawks re-sign Hagerty

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks announced Thursday that they have re-signed pitcher Luke Hagerty and released pitcher Luke Behning.
Hagerty was 0-2 with a 13.50 earned-run average in two relief appearances for the RiverHawks earlier this season. He is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against Slippery Rock.
Behning, a rookie and a fellow Ball State University alumnus, had no record, no saves and a 0.00 ERA in five appearances.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season.
