Sauget, Ill. - Saturday's game between the visiting Rockford RiverHawks and the Gateway Grizzlies has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday. Game one will begin at 4:35 p.m. and game two will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.
According to Frontier League rules, regulation length of each game will be seven innings.
Rockford returns to Marinelli Field at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, to begin a three-game homestand against Richmond. The series opener is a Dr. Pepper/7UP "2 For Tuesday," when fans buy two hot dogs for $2 or two soft drinks for $2.
The 'Hawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub.
