
RiverDogs turn road warriors

ELMIRA, NY - John DiPace's hat trick and a huge 4 goal second period lifts the Richmond RiverDogs to their second victory in a row as they defeat the Elmira Jackals by the score of 7-4. Richmond also got goals from rookies Rafal Martynowski (4) and Warren Cooper (4) along with goals from veterans Brian Goudie (1) and Dan Vandermeer (2). Mike D'Alessandro got his second victory between the pipes as he stopped 42 of 46 shots. The RiverDogs got a terrific performance from J.J. Wrobel as he posted a pair of assists in his first game after coming off the injured reserve list. The seven goals scored along with the four in the second stanza are team highs for the season. Attendance- 3,886.
The RiverDogs and the Jackals will do battle again tomorrow night at the First Arena in Elmira beginning at 7:05. The RiverDogs next home game at the Richmond Coliseum is Sunday, November 13 as they play host to division rival Adirondack. After the conclusion of the match will be the first Fox Post-Game Skate with the RiverDogs. Fans are invited to bring their skates and join the Dogs on the ice for pictures, autographs and a whole lot of fun.
