RiverDogs' Monday Opener Postponed in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Charleston RiverDogs and Asheville Tourists' series opener was postponed on Monday night at McCormick Field on account of impending weather. The two clubs will play a doubleheader to start the series on Tuesday night starting at 5 p.m.

Tuesday's twin bill can be tuned into online streaming on the TuneIn Radio app on the "Charleston RiverDogs" station starting at 4:45. The Charleston club's radio affiliate, WTMA 1250 AM, will pick up the action in progress starting at 7 p.m. over the radio airwaves in the tri-county area. Right-handers Alex Vizcaino and Luis Medina which each make their season debuts on the mound.

Both contests will be seven-inning games. The Yankees and Rockies affiliates are scheduled to face each other 23 times throughout the course of the season, Charleston's most common opponent this year.

Fans can "Make Fun" with the RiverDogs all season long starting on Thursday, April 11 when they welcome the Greensboro Grasshoppers for their home opener, kicking off a weeklong homestand at The Joe.
