RiverDogs announce ticket exchange policy

November 9, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Richmond RiverDogs News Release

RICHMOND, VA- Due to the postponement of the Wednesday, November 9, 2005 game against the Adirondack Frostbite, General Manager/Head Coach Robbie Nichols and the entire RiverDogs staff would like to announce the following ticket exchange policy:

Any tickets that have been purchased earlier and were being held at will-call can pick up the tickets and exchange them for tickets to a future RiverDogs game of his/her choosing. Those who have brought their ticket stubs from the Saturday, October 29, 2005 guaranteed Win Night can exchange that ticket for a future RiverDogs game. Season Ticket holders can exchange those tickets at the Richmond Coliseum Box Office for a game of their choice. Fans who purchased tickets for tonight's match can exchange them at the Box Office for a future RiverDogs game.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience that thousands of our fans suffered due to this cancellation", said Richmond RiverDogs President and Co-Owner Jay Acton said. "It's distressing to the organization that the Coliseum can hold a Monster Truck event during the weekend and an Elton John Concert last night but not have playable ice for its primary tenant. We will let all our fans know when this game is being rescheduled and we are sorry for ruining their evening."

General Manager/Head Coach Robbie S. Nichols was disappointed over the circumstances of the cancellation. "The ice conditions were unsafe for the athletes and that is always our first priority. We apologize to all people who were inconvenienced."

The Richmond RiverDogs would like to thank each and every one of you fans for your support and remind you that we do have a game on Sunday, November 13, 2005 against the Adirondack Frostbite with a 4:05 pm start. Immediately after the contest will be a Post-Game Skate with the RiverDogs. Bring your skates! See you at the Richmond Coliseum on Sunday!
