RiverDogs-Adirondack Postponed

November 9, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Richmond RiverDogs News Release

RICHMOND, VA- Tonight's Richmond RiverDog's hockey game with the Adirondack Frostbite has been postponed due to poor ice conditions. The RiverDogs would like to apologize to their fans, and to the city for the unfortunate circumstances. The game will be re-scheduled at a later date.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience that thousands of our fans suffered due to this cancellation", said Richmond RiverDogs President and Co-Owner Jay Acton said. "It's distressing to the organization that the Coliseum can hold a Monster Truck event during the weekend and an Elton John Concert last night but not have playable ice for its primary tenant. We will let all our fans know when this game is being rescheduled and we are sorry for ruining their evening."

General Manager/Head Coach Robbie S. Nichols was disappointed over the circumstances of the cancellation. "The ice conditions were unsafe for the athletes and that is always our first priority. We apologize to all people who were inconvenienced."
