River Rats Clemmensen Recalled

Albany N.Y. – The Albany River Rats today announced that goaltender Scott Clemmensen has been recalled by the Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils.

Clemmensen, 26, shows a 5-12-4 mark with a 3.07 goals against average and a .902 save percentage in a team-high 22 games for the River Rats during the 2003-04 season. The Des Moines, IA native is making his second trip to New Jersey this year, but has yet to see any National Hockey League action The 6-2, 205-pounder appeared in his 100th professional contest on Sunday night in Worcester and allowed just one goal in 20 minutes of action for the Devils during his only NHL action back on October 6, 2001 at Washington.

The Albany River Rats return to the ice Thursday, January 22, 2004 when the club hosts the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a 7:00pm face-off at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. All seats are $10 and the price for a ticket/transportation package arranged by the River Rats Booster Club is only $30.

Each broadcast is preceded by the Capitaland Motors GMC Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to the opening face-off.
