Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host a blood drive at the Willow Creek Health Club in Rosemont, 10225 W. Higgins Rd., on Wed., Jan. 21, from 2 to 8 p.m. to benefit LifeSource Blood Services.

According to LifeSource, the Chicago area blood supply is low, and the blood bank needs 1,500 donors a day to meet local needs. Donations during winter are the lowest of any season during the year.

"Every donation saves three lives," said Jennie Artajo, LifeSource account manager. "Our goal for the Wolves is to reach about 25 people, so if we reach that goal, the Wolves have saved 75 lives in the Chicago area. The Wolves' doantions have a big impact on Chicagoland patients."

Every fan who donates blood will receive an autographed player photo and a free ticket to any Wolves regular-season weekday game.

Fans interested in taking part in the blood drive can call 1-800-THE-WOLVES to reserve a donation time.
