Missouri River Otters News Release

The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League (UHL) announced today that they will wear special St. Patrick's Day Jerseys on Friday, March 14 when they face off against the rival Rockford IceHogs at the Family Arena at 7:15 p.m.

The jerseys will be auctioned off live following the game and the proceeds will benefit the Children's Miracle Network – www.cmn-stl.org, www.cmn.org.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Lonnie Loach Pepsi Poster or a set of U.S. Air Force Thunder Stix.

The St. Patrick's Day Jerseys feature a white background with a swath of deep green and Kelly green stacked on top of one another angling at 45 degrees across the jersey from the right sleeve. Rising out of the Kelly green swath are a myriad of shamrocks. A white band across the bottom of the jersey presents a collection of deep green shamrocks, one after another. The River Otters primary logo is decorated in all green, instead of the usual navy blue and forest green. As part of a reworked primary logo, Oscar the River Otters is wearing a Leprechaun hat.

To view the St. Patrick's Day Jerseys, fans may visit the River Otters Web site at www.riverotters.com and click on the St. Patrick's Day Jersey button on the right side.

There will be 23 jerseys auctioned off live immediately following the game in the South Endzone of the Family Arena. The glass will be removed for bidding convenience.
