River City Rascals News Release


O'Fallon, MO - The River City Rascals and Petropolis PetCenter have teamed up for this Sunday, August 9th to continue a pet supply donation drive for the St. Charles County Humane Society and all of the pit bulls that were recently rescued from the fight ring.

During this Sundays Rascals home game starting at 6:01pm at T.R. Hughes Ballpark fans that bring any donation items will receive a coupon good for $3.00 off of a box seat to that nights game. Petropolis will also be holding at Nintendo Wii home run competition for a $2.00 donation to the cause. Prizes include tickets to a St. Louis Cardinals game, a week of boarding at Petropolis, and Rascals giveaways. A wish list is available on www.petropolis.com. Fans are allowed to bring their dogs this Sunday and every Sunday to T.R. Hughes Ballpark.

Fans can also look out for the Rascals and their new "Rally Tortoise", Charlie, at the following locations for the "Petropolis Playoff Push" and walk away with great prizes from the Rascals and Petropolis as the first-place Rascals jockey for a position in the 2009 Frontier League Playoffs. The Rascals are looking to pack the park this August for an exciting month of baseball so come on out and support your hometown team!
