River Cats Welcome Storm Chasers, Cubs for Father's Day Weekend

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats return to Raley Field this week, sitting atop the division following a successful road trip to Oklahoma City and New Orleans. They will kick off a seven-game homestand with three against the Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals) beginning Wednesday, June 12, followed by a four-gamer with the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs). The homestand features fan-favorite daily promotions Wet Nose Wednesday (bring your dog to the ballpark), Thirsty Thursday ($2 domestic and $5 Lagunitas craft beer), and Orange Friday (live music and pre-game Knee Deep craft beer specials), plus Equality Night, Father's Day Sunday, and two fireworks shows!

Wednesday, June 12 - River Cats vs. Omaha Storm Chasers:

- Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m., gates will open to all fans at 6:00 p.m.

- Radio Broadcast: Live online at rivercats.com and on the River Cats radio affiliate Money 105.5 FM.

- Wet Nose Wednesday: Dogs are free at every Wednesday home game this season with owner ticket on the Toyota Home Run Hill. Package with hot dog, dog water bowl, and ticket is available for just $20 at rivercats.com.

Thursday, June 13 - River Cats vs. Omaha Storm Chasers:

- Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 6:00 p.m.

- Thirsty Thursday presented by Lagunitas: Domestic 12-oz beers are just $2 and Lagunitas craft beer is $5 on the Toyota Home Run Hill.

Friday, June 14 - River Cats vs. Omaha Storm Chasers:

- Equality Night: A uniting of baseball and the LGBTQ community as fans, celebrating acceptance and inclusion in support of equality during this family-friendly community event, supported by Lasher's Elk Grove Subaru and benefiting ProjectMORE.

- #OrangeFriday: Live music from Roni and the Fight and----- $2 off craft beers in the Knee Deep Alley from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and postgame fireworks!

Saturday, June 15 - River Cats vs. Iowa Cubs:

- Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 6:00 p.m.

- Princess & Pirate Night: Dress up your little princesses and pirates for an evening of fun! Check out a special ticket package that includes a wand and tiara or a sword and eye patch giveaway.

- Saturday Night Fireworks: Enjoy a themed fireworks show following every Saturday game, courtesy of Sutter Health.

- Food Trucks: On the Fry and Ahuevo Foods food trucks will be on the Toyota Home Run Hill.

Sunday, June 16 - River Cats vs. Iowa Cubs:

- Game Time: First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 12:00 p.m.

- Radio Broadcast: Live online at rivercats.com and on the River Cats radio affiliate Money 105.5 FM.

- Raley's Something Extra Sundays: Fans who bring a canned food donation of two items will receive a $5 food and beverage voucher for use at Raley Field food and beverage storefronts and portables.

- Father's Day BBQ: Here's to you, Dad! We are celebrating the amazing men in our lives with a specialty cap auction and a BBQ in Sactown Smokehouse! We also have a special ticket package available online.

- Sunday Funday: Sunday Funday features pregame player autographs, face painters, and Kids Run the Bases after the game.

- Family Value Tuesday: Enjoy $1 hot dogs, $1 ice cream cups, and $1 Merlino's for Toyota Family Value Tuesdays.
