Colorado Springs, CO. - Game one of the River Cats' series against the Sky Sox was suspended due to inclement weather in the fourth inning on Thursday night with Sacramento trailing 2-1 at Security Service Field.

The River Cats scored once in the second inning on an RBI fielder's choice by Stephen Parker and the Sky Sox scored twice in the bottom of the second when Brandon Wood hit a two-run home run to left field.

In the top of the fourth inning, hail storms and tornado warnings forced the officials to suspend the game. The remainder of the contest will be made up at 4 p.m. on Friday. Game two of the series will be played shortly thereafter and will last seven innings. RHP A.J. Griffin (0-2, 3.99 ERA) of the River Cats and LHP Drew Pomeranz (2-2, 2.22 ERA) were scheduled to start game two of the series.
