Sacramento, CA - The River Cats pitching staff allowed 11 hits but stranded 11 Isotope baserunners to win game two, 5-4, Wednesday afternoon at Sutter Health Park.

In the box, Albuquerque tallied 11 hits and two doubles. Wynton Bernard, Jonathan Morales and D.J. Peterson each recorded an RBI. LJ Hatch had two hits and a run scored. Jonathan Morales also registered two hits and an RBI. As a team, the Isotopes were 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

The River Cats plated three runs in the second inning on two sac flies and RBI double, taking a 3-0 lead. However, Albuquerque put up a three-spot of their own in the top of the third to tie the game at 3-3. Bernard doubled home a run and Morales stroked an RBI single to right while the third run scored on a passed ball.

Sacramento took the lead back, 4-3, in the fourth on a Ka'ai Tom solo shot. They extended their lead to 5-3 an inning later on a Jason Vosler RBI single to right.

The Isotopes got a run closer in the top of the seventh on a Peterson sac fly.

Ashton Goudeau was charged with his fourth loss of the year after tossing 5.0 innings and allowing five runs on six hits, three walks and one homer with three punchouts.

Topes Scope:

- The Isotopes are now 10-11 in one run ball games and 6-9 on the road.

-Albuquerque is 7-7 in day games and 4-5 on the road. They have dropped three-straight day games.

-The Isotopes out hit their opponent but lost for just the seventh time this year. Overall, they're 35-7 when recording more hits and 15-4 on the road.

-Albuquerque struck out 15 times-one shy of the season-high set Tuesday.

-Goudeau picked off a runner at second base, the first time an Isotopes pitcher has picked off a runner since June 29 when José Ureña nabbed a runner at first vs. Sugar Land.

-Hatch has reached base in 25 of 29 games he has started this season. He also tallied his 10th multi-hit effort of the year, his first since July 6 vs. Round Rock. Additionally, he has struck out in 10-straight games.

-With Holder's single in the top of the third, he tallied his 500th career MiLB hit.

-Goudeau has allowed four-plus runs and a home run in six of his seven starts for the Isotopes this year.

-Pérez drew two walks in a game for the sixth time this year. He has reached base at least twice eight times in his last 12 games. Additionally, he has reached base three times in his last two contests.

-Peterson has tallied an RBI in four of his last five games, totaling eight. During July, he is hitting .343 (12x35) with four doubles, three homers and nine RBI over 10 games.

-Bernard extended his hit streak to 11 games-the longest active hit streak in the PCL. During the streak, he is hitting .362 (17x47) with four doubles, two triples, two homers and 11 RBI. Reached base twice in eight of his last nine games.

-Morales collected his 16th multi-hit effort of the year and his third in his last four contests. Has seven RBI in seven July games.

-Trejo is 6-for-13 in his last three contests.

-Jimmy Herron recorded his first Triple-A stolen base of his career in the fourth inning.

On Deck: The Isotopes and River Cats will play game three Wednesday at 7:45 pm MT. Corey Oswalt is set to start for Albuquerque while Enmanuel De Jesus for Sacramento.
