River Bandits-Timber Rattlers Postponed Saturday

DAVENPORT, Iowa. ( July 5, 2014 ) - Saturday's game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Modern Woodmen Park has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up with a doubleheader occurring at 4 p.m. Sunday. Individual tickets for Saturday's game may be exchanged at the box office for any remaining 2014 home game.

Quad Cities (8-7 second half, 43-41 overall) and Wisconsin (9-6, 45-39) are scheduled to play a pair of seven-inning games Sunday. Gates will open at 3 p.m. for the 4 p.m. start to Game 1.

Saturday's Nolan Ryan Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Mediacom and the Dispatch-Argus will occur at the Thursday, July 10, game against the Kane County Cougars. Game time Thursday is 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday will be the ninth doubleheader of the season for the River Bandits and eighth for the Timber Rattlers. Game 1 will feature River Bandits left-hander Chris Lee (3-5) against Wisconsin left-hander Anthony Banda (4-5). Game 2 is scheduled to have River Bandits right-hander Jandel Gustave (5-4) against Wisconsin right-hander Tristan Archer (3-3).
