
All-Star Closer Murphy Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts All-Star closer Griffin Murphy has been promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin.
Murphy, 23, posted a 2-2 record with a 2.00 ERA and a league-leading 16 saves in 28 appearances with the Lugnuts. He was one of four Lugnuts in the 50th annual Midwest League All-Star Game, held June 17th in West Michigan, pitching 0.2 of a scoreless inning. This will be the San Bernardino, CA, native's first excursion to the A-Advanced level.
