WATERFORD, MICHIGAN - The London Rippers have released nine players from their spring training camp, bringing the player roster down to 31 players.
The players released are: Catcher Brandon Fowler, infielders Brad Agustin, Garrett Bivone, Michael Haynes and Sam Feiner, outfielder William Hodges and pitchers Leandro Mella, Nick Schreiber and Wayde Kitchens.
The Frontier League requires teams to have a maximum of 24 players on their Opening Day roster, which, for the Rippers, is May 18th in Southern Illinois.
The team is continuing their training camp at the Summit Fieldhouse in Waterford, Michigan and the Diamonds of Jaycee Park in Pontiac today, in preparation for their exhibition games this weekend in Traverse City, against the Beach Bums.
The London Rippers start their first season in the Frontier League on May 18th in Southern Illinois, before opening their home schedule on May 25th, when they host the Gateway Grizzlies.
