The Corpus Christi Rayz would like to invite all of South Texas to the dedication of the new inline skating rink in City Park in Port Aransas on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. Rayz CEO and President, Doug Frank will be on hand with Port Aransas City Officials for the dedication ceremony. Additionally, Rayz players, staff members and team mascot Stinger Ray will be attendance. All fans are welcome to come to the public dedication, and stay to participate in or view a post-dedication pick-up hockey game, open to players of all ages and skill levels. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates and participate.

Doug Frank was instrumental in helping create the new skating rink. Frank donated the boards, rink accessories, hockey equipment, scoreboard, goals, bleachers and additional pieces of the new-look rink. The rink offers South Texas residents a way to locally participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the Lone Star State. Frank has been a Port Aransas resident for ten years, and is currently in his sixth season as owner of the Rayz hockey team.

The Rayz are proud to be celebrating a decade of hockey in South Texas. Individual game tickets are currently available.
