Calgary Roughnecks News Release

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today confirmed a second pre-season game - and again it will be against provincial arch rivals, the Edmonton Rush.

A scrimmage had already been arranged for Lethbridge the night of December 30. The two teams will also clash on December 8 at Rexall Place, Edmonton.

"It's great we have the opportunity to play these games with Edmonton without having to fly all over the country," said General Manager Kurt Silcott.

"Now we can get our team prepared for the season by playing a fellow National Lacrosse League club right here in Alberta."

Silcott added, "With these two games we will expose lacrosse to even more potential fans which hopefully will help grow the sport in Western Canada."
