Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club is pleased to participate in next week's Canadian Western Agribition with a display booth and player/coaches autograph signings for the entire tradeshow.
As much as farming and agriculture are synonymous with Saskatchewan, so too is the Roughrider Football Club. Personnel from the club, including several players and all of the coaching staff, are looking forward to sharing stories, thoughts and smiles about the team and its fans, who hail from all over the province.
A video highlight tape, information on the Roughriders' new website and Grey Cup 2003 brochures will be at the booth, located in the upper Queensbury salons in the northwest corner of the Lifestyle displays.
Fullback Chris Szarka, offensive lineman Gene Makowsky and kicker Paul McCallum will all make appearances throughout the week to sign 2002 team posters and Labour Day game programs.
Roughrider stickers, tattoos and balloons will be available for the kids and pictures with players and/or coaches will also be allowed. Surprise visits from a certain gopher will also take place! Booth will be open from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday.
