Riders Signa Pair to the Practice Roster

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced that import quarterback Cole Bergquist and non-import offensive lineman Matt O'Meara have been added to the team's practice roster.

Bergquist (6'2 - 205 lbs) spent the past four seasons at the University of Montana. The 23-year old completed 226 of 372 pass attempts for 3,165 yards and 28 touchdowns in his senior season. He finished his college career with 601 completions for 7,514 yards and 58 touchdowns.

O'Meara (6'4 - 294 lbs) re-joins the Roughriders after spending the past two seasons in Winnipeg. The 23-year old dressed in 12 regular season games for the Blue Bombers last season. O'Meara was originally drafted by the Roughriders in the first round (3rd overall) in the 2005 CFL Canadian Draft.
