Today, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced they have signed import wide receiver Kahmal Roy. Terms of the deal were not released.

Kahmal Roy spent four seasons at Hofstra University, wracking up impressive numbers. In his senior season, Roy teamed up with current Rider quarterback Rocky Butler to lead Hofstra with 70 receptions for 1,221 yards and 15 touchdowns. For his efforts, Roy was named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team, the All-ECAC First Team, and the Associated Press I-AA All-America First Team.

COLLEGE: Spent four seasons at Hofstra University...led Hofstra in senior season with 70 receptions for a school-record 1,221 yards and 15 touchdowns...had 152 receptions for 2,442 yards and 25 touchdowns during college career...picked up numerous awards in senior season, including All-Atlantic 10 First Team, the All-ECAC First Team, The Associated Press I-AA All-America First Team, and The Sports Network I-AA Second Team...also awarded the Howard Myers Award as the student-athlete who displayed leadership skills on the field and in the community.
