
Richmond Braves Online Auction To Support Massey Cancer Center

Richmond, VA - The Richmond Braves and Virginia Commonwealth University's Massey Cancer Center are teaming up in the fight against cancer. The Braves recently held a "Paint the Park Purple" day in support of anyone who has battled, beaten or be affected by the disease.
The Braves donned specially made purple jerseys on Sunday, August 5. The jerseys were signed following the game and are currently being auctioned on the club's website. You may bid on the jerseys through the club's website at, www.rbraves.com/auction . All of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Massey Cancer Center on the VCU medical campus.
The VCU Massey Center is one of 63 National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Centers. The center provides not only cancer research but offers various treatment options.
