Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC has added more Brazilian flair to the roster with Richard Luca Rosa Da Silva Sousa (BRA), simply known as Richard Luca, signing on for the 2020 season.
The Twenty-Two-year old comes to us from the Goiás region of Brazil, roughly 200kms from the capital city of Brasilia. The skillful Brazilian can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. Having spent time with prestigious Santos FC (BRA), Richard made a move to Correcaminos UAT (MEX). More recently, playing for FC Torpedo Kutaisi of the Georgian top division where he scored 5 goals in 14 matches. Richard has also represented the Brazilian National team at the U17 level and has designs to one day return to the famous yellow jerseys of Brazil.

Richard Luca is expected to arrive in Calgary March 2020 to begin training pending the expected approval of appropriate visas/work permits.
