RHP Zach Lee, IF Michael Russell Transferred to AAA Durham; RHP Sam McWilliams to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays have announced that RHP Zach Lee and IF Michael Russell have been transferred from the Biscuits to AAA Durham.
Lee, 26, was 6-1 with a 2.17 ERA in nine starts for Montgomery, and will head to Triple-A for the sixth time in his career. Russell, 25, was hitting .343 with two home runs and 13 RBIs in 24 games with the Biscuits, and will head to Triple-A for the first time in his career.
The Rays also announced that RHP Sam McWilliams has been transferred to the Biscuits from A+ Charlotte. McWilliams, 22, was 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in three starts for the Stone Crabs.
