Adrian Houser Recalled by Milwaukee

BILOXI, MS - For the second time this season, RHP Adrian Houser has been recalled by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Houser made his season debut with the Milwaukee Brewers on April 8 at Miller Park against the Chicago Cubs, tossing two scoreless frames and striking out three while allowing just a hit. He made his Major League debut with the Brewers in 2015, making two September appearances.

With the Shuckers, Houser made eight starts, going 0-1 with a 4.73 ERA. Over the course of 26.2 innings, he walked just seven and struck out 30. His last start came at MGM Park on May 20 when he hurled four innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits while striking out four. Houser also displayed his ability at the plate with the Shuckers, going 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in three games.

The Shuckers roster now sits at 24 active players. Biloxi continues a five-game series with Mobile at Hank Aaron Stadium on Friday night at 7:05 PM CT. RHP Zack Brown (2-0, 2.70) will take the mound for Biloxi. Mobile has not announced a starting pitcher.
