PEARL, MS - On Friday, April 20 the Atlanta Braves promoted RHP Andres Santiago to Triple-A Gwinnett. In a corresponding RHP Connor Johnstone to the Double-A Mississippi Braves from the High-A Florida Firefrogs.
In two appearances for Mississippi, Santiago has recorded a 0-0 record with a 1.13 ERA. He has struck out 6 batters, walked 2 and allowed only 7 hits in 8.0 innings of work.
The 23 year old Johnstone reports to Mississippi from Extended Spring Training.
The active roster stands at 25 with 1 MLB Rehab and 6 on the Disabled List.
