El Paso Rhinos News Release
Friday: Texas Brahmas 2 @ El Paso Rhinos 3 - For the second time this season the El Paso Rhinos and Texas Brahmas square off on the ice. The first period did start off a bit slow and the Rhinos wouldn't take a single goal until well into the period. Kyle Arias gives us the first goal of the night with a quick retort from The Brahmas to tie up the game at 1-1 by the 17 minute mark. Just as the period closes Bryan Wood takes the lead for the Rhinos with one more goal and we head into the second period with a 2-1 lead. With no scoring by either team in the second, we continue to see both teams striving for any advantage. At almost eight minutes into the third period the Brahmas tied up the game once more. Fortunately for the Rhinos Nick Jones takes one final goal to end the stalemate and giving the Rhinos a 3-2 victory for Game #1.
